    Robert Schoelzel | President

Robert Schoelzel is a financial advisor and president of the Financial Advisory Group. With over 20 years in the Financial Planning industry, he has helped thousands of families develop financial strategies.

Robert grew up in a rural farming community where the Average Joe had no one to help them understand the complicated financial services industry.  He decided to get into the financial services business as a result of seeing his parents and the people around them struggle with their finances.

Robert has committed his business to helping families that are confused, frustrated and concerned about their financial future. When working with clients, he breaks financial strategies down into everyday language that the average investor can understand. He utilizes a comprehensive network of accountants and attorneys as well as Medicare and Social Security experts to help clients in all areas of their retirement.

Robert holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point as well as Series 65 and life and health insurance licenses.

Robert is the author of “Unfair Advantage: Secrets to a Successful Retirement for the Average Joe,” a book dedicated to helping families understand what is really going on in the investment world and the unfair advantage many high-net-worth clients have over the average Joe when it comes to developing a successful retirement strategy.

Robert and his wife, Kate, live in Menasha, Wisconsin. They have four children and one grandchild. In his spare time, Robert likes to garden and has developed an extensive square foot garden area that he tends to most of the summer. He also likes to camp, bike and hike with his wife now that they are "empty-nesters.”
